A young man from Uttarakhand and two from Bihar were brutalized in the coach of a standing train.
Jhansi. Army soldiers raped two women at Veerangana Laxmibai railway station. The incident is of Sunday evening. The GRP has registered a case and arrested both the jawans. While one is absconding. One jawan of the accused is from Uttarakhand and two from Bihar.
The GRP SP has been quoted as saying that the accused jawans have confessed to raping the women. The jawans have accepted the mistake. GRP IO Mohammad Naeem Mansuri said, a case of rape has been registered against the three jawans. Two jawans are from Bihar and one from Uttarakhand. The police have arrested both the army personnel. The third accused is absconding.
The afflicted women are friends. Was going to the station to meet a relative. A young man was found outside the station. He started saying that our mobile is lost. There was a train standing there. He took both of us in a coach. Two youths were already present there. A case has been registered at the GRP police station against jawans Sandeep, Ravindra and Suresh, out of whom two have been detained, while one is absconding
