306 Hindu devotees reached Haridwar from Sindh province of Pakistan, will visit temples after bathing in Ganga

Grand reception for Pakistani Hindu pilgrims who reached Shadani Darbar

Haridwar. A batch of 306 Hindu devotees from Pakistan’s Sindh province reached Haridwar on Saturday to attend the 63rd death anniversary celebrations of Saint Rajaram Sahib, the seventh Peethadhishwar of Haridwar Shadani Darbar. The Hindu pilgrims who arrived from Pakistan were welcomed by Shadani Darbar and Akhil Bhartiya Sananat Parishad by wearing patka and flower garlands. A three-day festival is being organized on the 63rd death anniversary of Sant Rajaram Sahib at Shadani Darbar located at Saptsarovar in northern Haridwar. The ninth Peethadhishwar of Shadani Darbar DrSaint Yudhishthir Lal told that every year a batch of devotees from Pakistan comes to Shadani Darbar. Shadani Darwar was established about 310 years ago in 1708 in Sindh region located in Pakistan. Every year in April a group of pilgrims from Pakistan comes to visit India. Sometimes even twice a year Pakistani Hindu pilgrims come to visit India. Devotees bring the water of the Indus river from Pakistan to India and mix the water of the Indus river with the water of the Ganges here and mix the two rivers. To keep our culture alive, this work is going on since the Indo-Pak agreement in the year 1976. International Vice President of All India Sanatan Parishad DrSunil Kumar Batra and Avikshit Raman said that the Shadani Darbar is doing a commendable job of merging the Indus with the Ganges and the Ganges with the Indus by taking the Hindus living in Pakistan on a tour of India. State President Dinesh Kumar Sharma said that Indian Sanatan culture attracts everyone to itself. Shadani Darbar is working as a bridge of spiritual journey between India and Pakistan.
