Haridwar. An 8-year-old boy died after a clothesline got entangled in his neck after falling while coming down the stairs. The accident has created chaos in the family. After the DM’s permission, the police handed over the body to the relatives without post-mortem.
According to the police, Rajiv Shastri’s nephew Punya Kaushik (8) was going to the third floor of the house late on Tuesday evening. Suddenly his foot slipped while going down the stairs. Due to this, his head got caught in the hanging rope, due to which he suffocated. Seeing this, the relatives took out the rope from the neck. The incident is of Bahadarabad police station area.
