Uttarakhand government sends letters to chief secretaries of all states

Dehradun. Pilgrims will have to compulsorily register for the Chardham Yatra. You will not be able to travel without registration. Chief Secretary Dr SS Sandhu was quoted as saying that this time it is estimated that more pilgrims will arrive than last time. Therefore, many new arrangements have been made. This time all the pilgrims who come will have to compulsorily register. Letters have been sent to the Chief Secretaries of all the states in this regard.
Dr. Sandhu said that the Tourism Department will give advertisements in newspapers in every state in their language so that people can also know what rules have been made for travel this time. Its purpose is also that not too many people come in one day. Do not gather too much crowd, do not create a stampede-like situation. According to the registration, the number will be good for the people coming on the same number and everyone’s security will also be maintained. He said that the date of registration for Gangotri and Yamunotri will also be announced after a few days.
