Rathi Haridwar and Kalim are lodged in Almora jail, police filed case in extortion case
Haridwar. A case of extortion of five lakhs has come to light from an advocate in the name of gangster Sunil Rathi and gangster Kaleem. On the instructions of SSP Ajay Singh, Sidkul police have registered a case against six accused including both the gangsters.
Registering the case at Sidcul police station, advocate Abhishek Bhardwaj’s son Anant Shankar Sharma, resident of Sardaron Wali Haveli, Upper Road city Kotwali told that he was present in his chamber on 31st March. Meanwhile, a call came on his mobile phone. The caller, giving his name as Sagar, described himself as close to notorious gangster Sunil Rathi. The accused said that he would have to pay an amount of five lakhs for the expenses of Sunil Rathi and gangster Kaleem. The accused asked the advocate to immediately reach outside the gangster court. It is alleged that when that mobile number was contacted again, it was warned of dire consequences. It is alleged that the advocate was told that his fellow Shubham Panwar resident of Dehradun, Rajat Sati, Abhay Sharma resident of Khadkhadi also have a date in the gangster court on April 5, he will meet him there then.
