Saharanpur. The body of a female officer was found lying in a room in the officer’s enclave of Sarsawa Air Force Station. Flight Lieutenant Sanjivani Sharma was posted at the Air Force Air Base in Rajasthan. She had come to Air Force Station Sarsawa for training. Police has sent the dead body for postmortem.
According to the police, when Sanjivani did not turn up for training on Tuesday morning, the Air Force officers reached the room. The door was found locked from inside. The officers somehow broke open the door. Sanjeevani was lying unconscious on her bed inside the room.
The doctors of the Air Force station examined him. But by then he had died. Some medicines have also been found on the spot. It is believed that the woman officer was suffering from some disease for which she was taking medicines. According to the police, the husband of the deceased woman flight lieutenant is also posted as a squadron leader in the Airforce.
Inspector Sube Singh, in-charge of Sarsawa police station said that information was given by Air Force station officials. The case is being investigated.
