Case registered against the accused and his family on the complaint of the girl
Dehradun. A woman has accused her husband of raping her before marriage. It is alleged that at the rate of making a police complaint of rape, the accused accepted her as his wife by wearing Mangalsutra in the temple. After marriage now he is harassing her mentally and physically. He is pressuring her to have an abortion. On the complaint of the girl, the police have registered a case against her husband, mother-in-law and father-in-law.
The case pertains to Patel Nagar Kotwali area. The girl told that the incident took place between March 2021 and November 2022. The girl told that before marriage she used to work at the salon. Rohan resident Hathibarkala, son of a store owner in front of the salon, started trying to contact him.
When a conversation started between them, one day Rohan took her along with him on the pretext of showing her the plot and raped her. After this, Daat was taken to Kali temple and made him wear Mangalsutra. Said that now she is his wife.
The girl alleges that the marriage took place against her will. After this he started trying to rape again, then he told the whole thing to some responsible people of the area. When they pressurized, Rohan married the woman as per Hindu religion. After this, Rohan’s father and mother pressurized him to bring Rs 10 lakh and a car.
The girl told that she is now six months pregnant, but Rohan is pressurizing her to get an abortion. Fed up, he complained to the Patel Nagar police. Inspector Patelnagar Suryabhushan Negi said that on the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered against Rohan, his father and mother
