Family members of the young man filed a case against friends, accused of killing him by giving overdose
Dehradun. A young man working in a hotel in Rishikesh died under suspicious circumstances. Expressing the suspicion of murder on his friends, the Raipur police station has registered a case of murder. Friends are accused of killing him by giving him a drug overdose. The police have seized the mobile and other belongings of the deceased.
Raipur police station chief Kundan Ram told that the incident is of Donali area of Raipur police station area. Siddhant Tyagi, a resident of Raipur, used to work in a hotel in Rishikesh. He came to his friend Aditya’s house in Donali on May 8 without informing his family members. Here he partyed with his friends Karan and Aditya.
Karan and Aditya woke up in the morning but Siddhant was lying unconscious. Aditya informed this to his relatives and the police. Siddhant was rushed to the hospital through emergency service on the spot, where doctors declared him brought dead. Siddhant’s maternal uncle Manoj Pandey has complained to the police in the matter. He says that on May 8, Siddhant got his salary from his hotel. On this his friend Aditya called him for the party. Everyone kept this program secretly.
Aditya, Karan, Siddhant and their friends were at Aditya’s house in Donali. Manoj Pandey alleged that Karan and Aditya deliberately gave Siddhant a drug overdose. When he fell unconscious, he was left to die.
The relatives have also alleged that Siddhant died on the night of May 8 itself, but his friends did not tell this to anyone. Police action took place and he was also declared brought dead in the hospital.
Despite this, he informed his relatives the next day on the afternoon of May 9. Due to this, questions are being raised on his intention. The SHO said that the real cause of death would be known in the post-mortem
