36 fake doctors identified in BAMS degree forgery case, 14 arrested
Dehradun. Reward will be declared on 16 absconding doctors and two brothers of main accused Imlakh in BAMS degree forgery. All these accused doctors are absconding for two and a half months. On the other hand, two brothers of Imlakh have not yet been caught by the police.
Uttarakhand STF had registered a case on January 9 last. STF identified 36 doctors who got registered with Medical Council of India, Uttarakhand by taking fake degrees. With the disclosure, only two accused and Imran, the brother of kingpin Imlakh, were arrested. The investigation was later handed over to the Dehradun District Police. SIT has been formed under the leadership of SP Crime Sarvesh Panwar. CO Mussoorie Anil Joshi was made an arbitrator in the matter.
So far 14 doctors have been arrested and two have surrendered in the court. At the same time, four doctors have obtained a stay on their arrest from the court. In such a situation, 16 doctors are still absconding. A lot of pressure has been given to arrest them. Now reward will be declared on his arrest
