Dalanwala area case, Inspector injured, accused couple arrested
Dehradun. The scooty-riding couple first hit the inspector of Dalanwala Kotwali who was checking at night and then dragged him away. After going some distance, the scooty met with an accident. The inspector sustained injuries on his hands and knees. While the young man and the girl have also been hurt.
Inspector Nand Kishore Bhatt of Dalanwala Kotwali Police told that at around one o’clock in the night he was checking with the police team at Dwarka Store Chowk. Meanwhile, the scooter rider tried to stop the young man and the girl. The scooter rider was not wearing a helmet. Coming near the police, the scooter driver slowed down the speed and then accelerated and ran away. When he tried to catch the scooty driver, the scooty driver dragged him along.
Scooty-riding young men and women themselves fell into the roadside drain and got injured. A young man and a young woman riding a scooter were caught from the spot. They have been identified as Anarwala, both residents of Vansh and Ashima. Both were arrested. A case was registered against both of them for obstructing government work and other sections
