Uttarakhand Board examinations start from 27th February, 165 centers across the state declared sensitive

Education Director Secondary Education Mahavir Singh Bisht said, all preparations have been completed for the Uttarakhand Board examinations starting from February 27. 1228 examination centers have been set up across the state for the examination, out of which 165 centers have been declared sensitive.
According to the Director of Education, this time one lakh 16 thousand 178 students will appear in the 10th class examination. This includes one lakh 14 thousand 328 institutional and 1,850 individual students, while 94,470 students will appear in class 12th. There are 90,474 institutional and 3,996 individual candidates.
1,228 examination centers have been created for the examination, out of which 47 are single and 1,181 are mixed centres. The Director of Education said, the appointment of examination center administrators, custodians and room inspectors in the examination centers will be done from the level of Chief Education Officer. Instructions have been issued to all CEOs in this regard. 13 main and 26 sub compilation centers have been created for compilation of answer sheets from the examination centres. After the examinations, the evaluation work is proposed to be done from March 27 to April 10, 2024. To prevent cheating in examinations, mobile teams will be deployed at the state, divisional and district levels.
