Accident a day before the last paper, police conducted postmortem of the body
Haldwani. Yash Pandey, son of Praveen Pandey (16), resident of Gayatri Nagar, Kusumkheda of Mukhani police station area, had his final examination of class 10th on March 15, but just a day before, his health deteriorated and his family had to admit him in STH.
Tau Pitambar told that Yash had dinner with the family on March 14. He suddenly vomited after eating. On this the family admitted him to STH. He remained hospitalized for two days. After the death of the student on Friday, the police sent the body to the mortuary. Yash was the only son of the family. There is a younger sister in the family. Father is a private employee and mother is an Asha worker. The family is shocked by Yash’s death. According to family members, Yash had swallowed poisonous substance. Medical post in-charge Praveen Tewatiya said that the cause of death will be known only after the post-mortem report comes.
