Raped earlier on the pretext of marriage, now the accused absconded by throwing acid
Roorkee. The accused threw acid on the rape victim in the area. After throwing the acid, the accused fled. The girl was badly burnt by the acid. The girl has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
According to the information received, the girl had accused the young man of raping her on the pretext of marriage by giving a complaint to the police about two weeks ago. After which the police registered a case against the youth and started investigation. It is alleged that late on Saturday night, the girl was returning from the doctor near the house after taking medicines. Meanwhile, the accused threw acid on him. The girl got badly burnt in this acid attack. After which, on getting the information, the police reached the spot and took the girl to the hospital.
