Anganwadi, mini workers and supporting organizations of the district are on strike with five-point demands. During this, angry workers protested against the government by climbing a tree in the tehsil complex. He has warned of hunger strike if his demands are not heard soon. Due to the strike, 681 Anganwadi centers in the district have been locked for a long time.
On Monday, under the leadership of State Vice President Vimla Paneru, workers gathered in the tehsil complex climbed trees and raised slogans against the government. Accusing the government of misleading him, he announced boycott of the Lok Sabha elections. The speakers said that even after talks with the CM, no decision has been taken in their favor.
He gave an honorarium of Rs 600 per day to Anganwadi workers, Rs 2 lakh on retirement, funds to transport take home ration to the centre, mobile phone recharge for nutrition takers, travel allowance for departmental work. Repeated the demand to leave. Rekha Bohra, Pushpa Mehra, Shobha Pandey, Shanti Goswami, Leela Joshi, Hema Joshi, Shashiprabha, Bhuvaneshwari, Prema, Saroj Tadagi, Sunita Pandey, Maya etc. were present among the protesters.
