Haridwar. A strange incident of robbing a mobile phone from a parking employee has come to light in Nagar Kotwali area. Two bike-borne youths hit the parking worker with a sharp needle on the neck from behind and the worker fell unconscious. The bike riders looted the employee’s phone and fled. When the parking worker regained consciousness, he narrated the incident. This is the first case of such robbery in Haridwar. It is suspected that the worker was injected with an unconscious state.
However, the worker is healthy after regaining consciousness.
Neeraj works in pit and Deendayal parking lot in Kotwali area. He was on his way home after finishing duty from the pit parking late on Tuesday night. Neeraj was on a bike and as soon as Deendayal reached the parking lot, two bike-borne youths from behind hit him with a sharp object on the neck. Neeraj fell uncontrollably and fell down with the bike and fell unconscious. An hour later, when he regained consciousness, the mobile was missing. Neeraj narrated the incident to his friends. The matter went to the police.
Police reached the spot and scanned the CCTV footage installed around the incident site. Kotwali in-charge Bhawana Kaithola said that CCTVs are being scanned.
