Faridabad. In a family feud, the father brutally murdered his two innocent children by drowning them in a well. According to the police, the accused first threw both the children into the well located in the farm and then jumped himself. To drown the children in the water, he stood on his feet. Due to which he died on the spot. The matter came to light when the wife’s children were searched. Police have taken the dead bodies of both the children and sent them for postmortem. The accused has been arrested and investigation has been started.
Police said that the first wife of Bhagat Singh, a resident of Sokhta Colony, Sikri, had died about three years ago. He had two children. Son Nikki was six years old and daughter Bindu was four years old. Both studied in a private school. Two years back accused Bhagat Singh got married to Asha. After marriage, he started living with both the children. Relatives told that the accused Bhagat Singh was addicted to alcohol. He used to quarrel with his wife daily after drinking alcohol and used to vent his anger on the children. On Wednesday night too, he came drunk and had a fight with his wife.
On Thursday morning, in anger, he took both the children to the farm on the pretext of getting them food items at the shop. The wife refused to take the children along, but he did not agree. After about an hour, Asha brought the children home from the farm. After some time he again took the children to the farm. When he did not return home for a long time, Asha started looking for the children but could not find them anywhere. While returning after searching the field, he heard some movement in the nearby well, he was shocked to see it. Both the children were lying dead in the well and Bhagat Singh was standing beside them. The well was not very deep, it had water only up to five feet. As soon as the information about this incident was received, there was panic among the people of the colony. People reached the well. In a nearby field, property dealers Dharmendra Singh and Naseen were showing the plot to some people. He also reached there after hearing the woman crying and screaming. Both took out the dead bodies by putting a ladder in the well and informed the police. As soon as the information was received, Sikri Chowki police and Sector-58 police station reached the spot
