Father-son riding tractor-trolley died on Haridwar-Roorkee highway

West Bengal’s tourist bus collided with a tractor-trolley from behind

Haridwar. A father-son duo traveling in a tractor trolley died when they collided with a West Bengal tourist bus from behind on the Haridwar-Roorkee highway on Monday morning. Police have taken possession of the tourist bus. After post-mortem the bodies were handed over to the relatives.
The accident occurred near Jurs Country Society at around 5 am. Kotwali in-charge Kundan Singh Rana told that Mansab (50), resident of village Ibrahimpur Pathri, was coming towards Jwalapur with his son Adnan (19) in a tractor trolley. The tourist bus coming at high speed from behind hit the tractor trolley from behind. The collision was so severe that the tractor trolley overturned. The police sent the badly injured father and son to the district hospital, where doctors declared both of them dead. Kotwali in-charge said that the driver managed to escape leaving the bus at the accident site. After post-mortem the bodies were handed over to the relatives. Told that on receipt of written complaint, action will be taken by registering a case against the bus driver in this regard. There is chaos in the family due to the death of father and son. There is mourning in the village also.
