Fed up with harassment by debtors, woman commits suicide with 3 children, suicide note reveals

Bageshwar. A new twist has come in the suicide case of a woman of Ghirauli Joshigaon with 3 children. Police claim that a 6-page suicide note has been found. In which the woman has blamed the mental harassment of the local police and debt collectors for the suicide of her and the children. The suicide note was written by the woman’s daughter.
The six-page suicide note mentions the names of those who came to the house to collect loans and not cooperating with the local police. Bageshwar SP Himanshu Kumar Verma has sent the Kotwali in-charge of Bageshwar to the line.
Sp Himanshu Kumar Verma revealed that the police have found a suicide note, which has been written by the woman’s thirteen-year-old daughter Anjali. In the suicide note, it is written that the family is troubled by financial constraints and liabilities. Anjali has written that her mother Nandi Devi was mentally disturbed and under pressure about this. Father Bhupalram was upset with people coming to the house to recover the loan. The SP said that the investigation of the case has been handed over to Kapkot Kotwali and CO. A departmental inquiry is being conducted into the allegation of negligence at the level of local police. The suicide note is also being investigated.
