Monday night incident, stampede, two cattle also burnt to death
Rudrapur. A fire broke out in 10 huts in Pandri of Sitarganj on Monday night. An innocent child died of burns due to the fire.
There is an incident in ward number three of Pandri village on Monday night when people were preparing to sleep after having food. Suddenly a hut caught fire and other 9 huts came under its grip. People started running here and there to save their lives. 6-year-old Jishan’s son Ashiq Shah died on the spot. Two animals also suffered severe burns. Information police and fire department brought the fire under control after two hours.
SSP Manjunath TC told that an innocent has died due to scorching. Two animals are also scorched. The cause of the fire is also being investigated.
