Kanpur incident, newborn daughter and mother scorched, cause of fire not known
Kanpur. A couple and three children were burnt alive after a fire broke out in a hut at Haramau in Rura. The mother got scorched while running away with the newborn daughter. When there was an outcry, the neighbors gathered, the police also reached and the fire was extinguished, but all five had already died.
Satish Nayak, 32, a farmer from Haramau village, his wife Kajal, 26, and their children, eight-year-old Sandeep, five-year-old Gudiya and four-year-old Sunny, were sleeping at home on Saturday night. Late night the hut caught fire. Due to this, no one got a chance to get out and died by burning. And in the back of the hut, Satish’s sister Neetu was with her one day old newborn son. When Satish’s mother Resham ran away with her daughter and the newborn, she got scorched. He was sent to the hospital. DM Neha reached the spot and took information. The SP told that the reason would be known after the investigation.
