Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami clarifies the situation on the issue of irregularities in recruitment examinations.
Dehradun.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday clarified the situation on the issue of CBI investigation into the irregularities in recruitment examinations. The Chief Minister said that he is not against the CBI investigation. First the current recruitments are completed, then if needed, a CBI inquiry will be conducted.
While handing over appointment letters to lt selected candidates at CM residence on Monday, the Chief Minister questioned the demand for a CBI inquiry. “A political party has always been questioning the impartiality of the CBI. He alleges that the CBI is an agency run at the behest of the central government. If so, why demand a CBI inquiry here? Here people went to court for a CBI investigation.
The CM said that there is some other game behind the demand for a CBI inquiry. Actually, whenever the CBI investigates a case, it takes at least five to eight years. In such a situation, no recruitment can be done till then. The whole process stops. The CM said that the government is taking strict steps to curb the cheating mafia. Uttarakhand’s anti-copying law is the most stringent law in the country.
