In Haldwani, a 13-year-old boy waved a gun on the road, people gasped

Police sent the child to the Child Improvement Observation Home, cartridges were also recovered

Haldwani. A case of brandishing a pistol by a 13-year-old child has come to light in Mandi police post area. The child came on the road with an illegal pistol of 315 bore kept in the house. Seeing the pistol in the hand of the child, the breath of the people got stuck. On being informed by the people, the police reached the spot and took the child to the outpost along with the pistol. The child has been sent to the Child Improvement Observation Home.
According to the police, the child is a resident of Mandi Chowki area. A 13-year-old child studies in 8th standard. It is being told that a family member had kept an illegal 315 bore pistol in the house. The child saw the gun and took out the gun from the house, came to the street and started waving it.

Mandi Chowki in-charge Gulab Singh Kamboj told that when the police reached the spot, the child ran away with a gun after seeing the police. Chasing which the police caught him. During this, the child’s house was searched, where cartridges were also recovered. On interrogation of the child, it was found that the family members had brought the pistol. Gulab Singh Kamboj told that after filing a report in the matter, the child was produced in the court, from where the child was sent to the Child Observation Home
