Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat held a meeting of officials of the School Education Department at the government residence.
Dehradun. Chandrayaan missions of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will be included in the school education curriculum of the state. Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has given instructions to departmental officers in this regard.
Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat held a meeting of the School Education Department at his official residence. In which many important decisions were taken. Dr Rawat said that the success of Chandrayaan-3 mission has hoisted the flag of Indian ingenuity in the country and the world.
ISRO’s Chandrayaan missions will be included in the state’s school education curriculum with the aim of developing scientific temper among children. For this, departmental officers have been asked to prepare a phased syllabus for classes 6th to 12th under the science stream.
The Education Minister said that in some schools, where teachers are posted, the number of students in their subject is zero. Such teachers will be accommodated in schools elsewhere. For this, departmental officers have been instructed to prepare a list and take action. He said that to solve the problems of contractual teachers working in various government schools, a concrete decision will be taken in a meeting with departmental officials in the first week of September.
Teacher’s Day will be celebrated with great pomp in all government schools on 5th September. On this occasion, teachers who have done excellent work at the state and block level will also be honored. Recently selected LT teachers will be given their first posting by handing over appointment letters on September 6.
