Pithoragarh. The Tourism Department is going to start Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Heli Darshan Scheme from next month. Under this, the journey will start from Pithoragarh district headquarters. This journey will run as a trial from April-May and from October this year to March next year.
Trips to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat will be organized through heli service in Vyas Valley. Heli service will start from Pithoragarh. On the first day, from Pithoragarh Helipad, overnight stay in Gunji and home stay in Gunji, on the second and third day, after traveling by heli service from Gunji to Nabidang and Jaulinkong as well as Kalapani and Parvati Sarovar through ATV, you will be made to stay back in the home stay in Gunji. .
On the fourth day, the journey will be completed from Gunji back to Pithoragarh via Heli. According to the Tourism Department, on one hand this will provide business to local home stay operators, transport operators and shopkeepers during winter season, while on the other hand tourists will get information about tribal culture, food, costumes and folk arts.
