Police will bring Haldwani on transit remand after arrest of servant Ramavatar and maid Usha from Malda in West Bengal
Haldwani. Vishkanya Dolly alias Mahi’s servant Ramavatar and maid Usha have also been arrested from Malda in West Bengal. After producing both the accused in the local court, the police will bring them to Haldwani on transit remand. After questioning both of them, many more curtains can be raised from Mahi’s exploits.
The servant and maid were on the run after Mahi killed her lover Ankit by biting him with a snake. Mahi and her alleged lover Deep Kandpal were caught by the police from Rudpur last day. While the reward amount was increased from 25000 to 50000 for the servant and maid absconding. Police has already arrested the fifth accused in the Ankit murder case, Sapere.
Mahi’s maid is originally from Bengal. Her husband is a resident of Uttar Pradesh. Both of them have been arrested from Malda town of West Bengal. Both have love marriage and have 2 children. After the murder of Ankit, the maid and her husband went to West Bengal and hid with their two children. Both had switched off their mobiles after the incident. The police got the clue after Usha’s mobile was switched on. Uttarakhand Police has given court application to take both on transit remand. As soon as the transit remand is received, the Uttarakhand police will reach Haldwani with both of them. After this there may be some more revelations in the Ankit murder case
