Uttarakhand Public Service Commission removes Controller of Examinations, Haridwar City Magistrate gets additional charge
Dehradun. Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has issued black list notices to 56 candidates involved in Patwari, JE-AE paper leak. The list of blacklisters will soon be put on the Commission’s website.
Sit Haridwar is investigating the paper leak case. Ssp Ajay Singh has provided the commission with a list of names of candidates involved in the paper leak. According to the commission officials, 44 candidates involved in the patwari-lekhpal recruitment paper leak held on January 8 have been identified. Statements of candidates are being taken.
At the same time, 12 candidates involved in the paper leak were identified in the JE-AE recruitment examination. Both cases are still under investigation. Therefore, the number of candidates may increase. The Commission met on Thursday and issued show cause notices to these 56 candidates and sought their response within 15 days. After this, this information will be released on the website by putting them in the blacklist.
The government on Thursday removed Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UTPSC) Controller of Examination Sunder Lal Semwal, who was embroiled in a controversy following the Patwari recruitment paper leak case. He has been replaced by Haridwar City Magistrate Awadhesh Kumar Singh.
