Monsoon active again before departure, warning of heavy rain today
Haldwani. Monsoon has once again gained momentum in most areas of Uttarakhand. Periods of intense showers are continuing and at some places it is raining heavily with thunder and lightning. According to Bikram Singh, Director of Meteorological Department Centre, today a yellow alert has been issued regarding weather in Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri, Chamoli, Nainital and Bageshwar districts. There may be heavy rainfall at some places.
It is raining at most places in the state. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility that the weather pattern in the state will remain like this even today. There will be a period of rain with strong gusts of wind in most of the districts of the state. The Meteorological Department has today issued a warning regarding heavy rain in six districts of the state.
