Dehradun. After marriage, the car returning from Patiala with the bride and groom blew up the bike at Asharodi Chowk. Mother and son were riding on the bike, both died.
Kulwant Singh Jalal, Kulwant Singh Jalal, police station in-charge of Clement Town said that the car was returning from Patiala with the bride and groom at around 2.30 pm on Friday. A person from the groom’s family was driving the car. He had to come home at Nehru Colony in Doon. The car went out of control at Asharodi and hit the bike. Police sent bike rider Rani wife Jamshed resident of Kazipura Nawada Road Saharanpur and her son Shahbaz to the hospital for treatment by ambulance. Doctors declared both dead at Doon Hospital. Nehru Colony resident Nehru Colony, bridegroom Siddharth Navani, bridegroom Ruhani and car driver Manoj Navani, who were riding in the car, suffered minor injuries.
