There will be no interview in Group ‘C’ examinations: Dhami

CM speaks at a gratitude rally in Haldwani on anti-copying law

Haldwani. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the government is going to take a decision that any Group ‘C’ examination, whether it is outside the Public Service Commission or being conducted by the Public Service Commission, will abolish the system of interview in all examinations with immediate effect.
The Chief Minister was speaking at the anti-copying law gratitude rally in Haldwani on Wednesday. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that it will also include technical and non-technical posts. The system of interview in technical posts like JE will also be abolished completely. Our government is also going to take a decision, where interview is necessary in high posts, such as PCS or other high posts, the percentage of interview should not be kept more than 10 percent of the total marks.
Apart from this, there are complaints from time to time that someone was given very high marks in the interview or very low marks were given to any candidate. For this, our government has been receiving various suggestions from the youth and various institutions that arrangements should be made to give the interview marks to the candidate only under a transparent process.
Therefore, following these suggestions, our government is also going to decide that if any candidate is given less than 40 percent and more than 70 percent in the interview, then the person taking the interview or the board will have to give a clear reason for this. Now there will be no arbitrariness of any kind. Our government will also implement the suggestions that will come in the future to make competitive examinations transparent as per the requirement. The BHARATIYA Janata Party is working on the mantra of Antyodaya and connecting the last person to the mainstream. We are moving forward with a vision for the dream of a developed Uttarakhand. He said that our resolve is to make Uttarakhand the best state of India by the silver jubilee year of the establishment of the state and this is our ‘resolution without choice’.
