Chamoli. A tragic accident took place on Badrinath Highway on Friday. There was a horrific collision between a tempo traveler and a bike in Birhi, Chamoli. During this time, three youths died in the accident.
According to the information, the incident occurred around 11:30 in the morning. The bike was coming from Pipalkoti towards Chamoli. The bike was overtaking the tempo traveller. During this time an accident happened. The deceased in the accident are two policemen riding a bike and a local youth. The collision was so severe that all three were crushed under the tempo and local youth Chamoli resident Deepak Kumar son of Shivnath and two policemen Sachin and Manveer died on the spot. The bodies have been brought to District Hospital Gopeshwar for post-mortem.
