Ban on non-Hindus working in Badrinath-Kedarnath: Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand

Haridwar. Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand said that according to the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee Act, non-Hindus should be banned from the construction, beautification, expansion etc. works of the temple. Their entry should be stopped.
Shankaracharya told reporters before going to Kedarnath Dham that the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee Act was formed in 1939. The Act has also been amended several times. Arrangements are made for Badrinath-Kedarnath on the basis of the Act. He said that it is written in the Act that non-Hindus cannot be involved in any work of the temple. There is a need to pay attention to this. The work of the temple should not be done by non-Hindu.
Said that there is an old tradition in Sanatan Dharma that Shankaracharya is present there when the doors of Kedarnath and Badrinath are opened. This tradition is being followed by me.
