Dead body of head constable found hanging in police station quarter, stir

Uproar by family members, accused of murder, had returned after doing VIP duty

There has been a stir after the dead body of the head constable was found hanging in the government quarter built in the police station premises. The head constable had returned from VIP duty. Police has sent the dead body for postmortem. The incident is of Chhaprauli police station in Barot of Baghpat district.
Amar Rana, 35, a resident of Saharanpur, was admitted to the UP Police in the year 2006. His posting was going on in Chhaprauli police station. On Friday morning, his body was found hanging in his own quarter at Chhaprauli police station.
On information, SP Arpit Vijayvargiya reached the spot. He got the videography of the spot done. At the same time, the body has been taken down from the gallows and sent for postmortem. On information, Amar’s family members also reached Chhaprauli police station.
They created a ruckus accusing him of murder. At present, the police is engaged in the investigation of the case. It is being told that Amar Rana was originally a resident of Bhadal village of Chaugama area. His father was also Vinod Rana Daroga in UP Police. As most of his postings were in Saharanpur area, he along with his family had shifted from the village to Saharanpur many years back
