Father jumps into Kali river to save son, both missing

Eight year old son was swept away after falling into the river while drinking water

. An eight-year-old boy was swept away in the Kali river after he lost his balance while drinking water. To save the son, his father also jumped into the river. But, both were swept away by the strong currents of the Kali river. The police team and the local people tried hard to find the father-son duo, but could not get success.
Santosh Chand (45), a resident of Purana Bazar, was grazing goats along with his eight-year-old son Tanuj on the banks of Kali river on Friday afternoon. Meanwhile, Tanuj went to the river bank to drink water, but due to loss of balance, he fell into the river and got caught in the strong current. Seeing his son drowning, father Santosh also jumped into the Kali river to save him. But even he could not handle himself in the fast current of the river. In-charge Police Station PC Joshi team told that due to the very fast flow of Kali river, there is a lot of difficulty in finding the father-son.
