A sensational case of raping a Ghaziabad woman by taking her hostage by injecting drugs has come to the fore. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case against the accused couple. Police is searching for the accused couple.
A woman resident of Ghaziabad was found unconscious on Saturday night in Ganeshpur of Gangnahar Kotwali area. The police had admitted the woman to the civil hospital. During treatment, the woman told that she had come to Haridwar about 25 days back in July during the Kanwar Yatra. She stopped at Roorkee Roadways bus stand to recharge her mobile. Here a Muslim youth met him. The young man took him to a rented room on Railway Station Road by making an excuse. The woman had alleged that the youth pressurized her to do wrong. On protesting, he was beaten up and injected with drugs. It is alleged that after that she was raped daily. The wife of the accused also cooperated in this work. The woman gave a complaint to the police in this regard. The police got the woman’s medical done on Sunday.
SP Dehat SK Singh said that on the basis of Tahrir, a case has been registered against Saqib, resident of Barla, Police Station Chhapar, District Muzaffarnagar Hall, Railway Station Road, Roorkee and his wife Khushi alias Ayesha. Both are being searched. At the same time, after coming to the notice of the matter, the Chairperson of the Women’s Commission, Kusum Kandwal, held talks with DGP Ashok Kumar and SSP Haridwar in this regard. Also, he was directed to arrest the accused while taking immediate action in the matter. DG Ashok Kumar says that the case has been registered. Soon the accused will be arrested.
