“Hindu we two, abandon the principle of our two and give birth to at least four children”

Saints call, instead of blaming any particular class for the imbalance of population density, we have to change our thinking

Haridwar. Many saints, including the National President of Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad (Mahanirvani) Shri Mahant Ravindra Puri and Niranjan Peethadhishwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri, called upon the followers of Sanatan Dharma, Hindus to produce more and more children following the Vedic religion tradition.
In a Sant Sammelan organized on the occasion of the inauguration of an ashram in Bhupatwala, Shri Mahant Ravindra Puri said that Hindus must give birth to at least four children, abandoning the principle of Hum Do, Hamare Do. It is said that in the Sanatan Dharma tradition, one child was in the army, one child was used to serve religion, one to look after the arrangement of the house and one to see the arrangement of commerce and economy. The paradox of population density has arisen in the society only because of non-adherence to it in the later years. It is in such a state of imbalance in many places within the country that the question of system has arisen there.
Mahamandaleshwar Swami Rupendra Prakash and Harichetananand also supported Sika and said that instead of blaming any particular class for the imbalance of population density, we have to change our thinking. We have to develop our thinking keeping in view the need of nation, religion, family and society. Sanatan and Vedic traditions have to be followed. Said that, if only we two, our two or the lion’s child, continue to follow the principle of only one good, then Hindus will neither be useful for the country nor for the Hindu culture in the years to come
