Dehradun. A case of gang rape of a minor has come to light in the marginal Tuni area. On the complaint of the victim, the police station has registered a case against the two accused under POCSO and other sections. The police took the victim to Government Hospital Vikas Nagar for medical examination. Police Station President Ashish Raviyan said that the accused are being searched.
In the Tahrir given to the police, the victim told that on August 2, she had come to Tuni market by sitting in a roadways bus. Here he met two youths. They made her sit in the pickup vehicle and took her to the room with them. During this, the accused raped her. The next day, both the accused took him for a tour in a pick-up vehicle towards Rohdu in Himachal Pradesh. During this, he did wrong things in the forest on the way.
The victim told that the accused kept her hostage for four days and kept raping her. After this, the accused left him near Tyuni market. The victim informed the relative regarding the incident. After this, the victim narrated her ordeal to the police station on Saturday. At the same time, Police Station President Ashish Raviyan said that on the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered against two accused Sonu and Dikshu of Tyuni Tehsil area under POCSO Act and other sections.
Police teams are raiding possible hideouts to nab the accused. Police is probing all aspects related to the incident. The police is also ascertaining that apart from the named accused, no one else was involved in the rape of the minor.
