Rawat said that three new medical colleges in the state are being built in Udham Singh Nagar, Pithoragarh and Haridwar districts, whose construction work is nearing completion and soon these medical colleges will be inaugurated. He said that there was no recruitment of nurses in the state for 23 years. The government has completed the process of recruitment of 1500 nurses, joining will be given to these nurses on 15th August.

Dr. Rawat said that four new nursing colleges will be opened soon in the state. He said that the facility of cathlab will be given in all the medical colleges of the state this year itself. He said that 100 percent doctors have been posted in the state and the remaining doctors will be posted within a month. He said that from August 01 to September 30, 2023, the state government will run Ayushman Sabha and Chaupals in 1500 gram sabhas of the state. Apart from making Ayushman cards, Aura IDs of the people of each village through these Ayushman gatherings, the health of the people will be checked.
He said that the state has been made TB-free Uttarakhand by 2025, for this the government is sending Rs. 500 online to each TB patient along with medicines in the patient’s account. Expressing happiness, he said that about 15 There are thousand TB patients, the public representatives of all these patientsAdopted by officials, voluntary organizations, doctors of hospitals, general public etc.Ambulance response reduced to 20 minutes
He said that a commendable step has been taken in this direction by the people of Uttarakhand. He said that earlier the response time of 108 ambulance was 40 minutes, now it has been reduced to 20 minutes, if the response time of 108 comes late after 20 minutes, then it will have to pay a fine of Rs 950. He also said that the auditorium of Sushila Tiwari Hospital would be inaugurated soon by the Chief Minister.
