Community-specific shops were forcibly closed in Kamaluvaganja area on Friday in protest against animal cruelty. The people creating ruckus also tore the flexi and sign boards in front of the shops. Have been asked to vacate the shop in 15 days.
When the ruckus increased, the police of three police stations were called on the spot. However, seeing the uproar, most of the shopkeepers had already closed their shops and left. On Friday, in a banquet hall located in Kathgharia, BJYM state minister Vipin Pandey got the collective Hanuman Chalisa recited. After this, the people involved in the lesson reached Kamaluvaganja square and started shutting down shops belonging to the community. These people came out from Kathgharia getting the shops closed. On Friday, these people got into an argument with the person who came in support of their tenant shopkeepers during the closure of shops on the day of Wednesday’s incident
