According to information, the marriage of Niranjan Aditya (30), a resident of Kharod, was fixed with a girl resident of Adbhar in Sakti district. All the rituals of marriage had been completed. The procession had taken place on Wednesday night. The procession had just reached Nagaridih that the police stopped it. After this Niranjan Aditya, who became the groom, was arrested and brought to the police station. After this there was a stir. In a hurry, the relatives and relatives of the accused groom reached the police station. Police said that Niranjan is accused of rape on the pretext of marriage.
Niranjan Aditya has been known for almost four years. Both used to study together in the same coaching. Both started talking and fell in love. It is alleged that Niranjan gave her the promise of marriage and kept raping her repeatedly. Whenever she talked about marriage, every time the accused would just give assurance. When she came to know that Niranjan was getting married elsewhere, she came to the police station and filed a report
