Rain brought debris on the road, journey to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat closed

Pithoragarh. The journey to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat has been interrupted again due to the closed road. More than 30 passengers could not proceed on their further journey due to road closure. Passengers are stranded due to debris on the road. Due to bad weather, the administration has banned the issuance of passenger passes here for two days.
On Monday, pilgrims going to visit Adi Kailash and Om Parvat could not go beyond Dharchula. From September 6, the administration once again started issuing passes for the journey. Now a ban of two days has been imposed.

In view of heavy rain and safety of passengers, issuance of passenger passes has been banned for two days. Passes will be issued further when the weather improves and the travel route remains correct. -Divesh Shashani, SDM, Dharchula.
