Regular flight service started from Devbhoomi to Ayodhya, Varanasi and Amritsar, CM Dhami inaugurated the flights.

Ayodhya Dham darshan will be available by air service only for Rs 1999, this discount will be available on flight ticket of Rs 7006 till 20th March.

Under the State Government Air Connectivity Scheme, regular flight service was started today from Jolly Grant Airport in Uttarakhand to three big cities Ayodhya, Varanasi and Amritsar. CM Dhami inaugurated all flights from Jolly Grant Airport.
Darshan of Ayodhya Dham from Devbhoomi will be done by air service for only Rs 1999. This discount will be valid till March 20 on flight tickets worth Rs 7006. Apart from this, the fare for Pantnagar, Varanasi and Amritsar will also be Rs 1999 on the opening day, whereas the full fare will be charged on regular flights.
Today on Wednesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched Dehradun-Ayodhya and Dehradun-Amritsar flights from Jolly Grant. Inaugurating the flights, Chief Minister Dhami said that the launch of these flights will help the pilgrims and other people in easy movement of Ayodhya and Amritsar. Said that apart from this, flights are also being started from Pantnagar to Varanasi. Due to which Garhwal and Kumaon will be directly connected to three more cities by air route. These three flights are being operated by Alliance Air.
The Civil Aviation Department of the government has decided the schedule and fares of the flights starting from Wednesday. Said, the government has given a big discount on the flight fare to Ayodhya Dham from Rs 7006 and has fixed it at Rs 1999 till March 20.
With this, those visiting Ayodhya Dham and Shri Ram Temple will get a financial benefit of Rs 5,000 per ticket over time, while the flight fare from Doon to Amritsar, Varanasi and Pantnagar will be Rs 1999 on the inauguration day, March 6 and 7. Tiwari said, flights will fly to Ayodhya every week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Said, the discount will be only on fares scheduled till March 20. After this, the full fare will be charged, while the fare from Doon to Pantnagar has been fixed at Rs 4,500, while the fare from Pantnagar to Varanasi has been fixed at Rs 6,400. After the inaugural flight at both the places, regular flights will start flying from Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from March 23. Apart from this, regular flights will fly from Doon to Amritsar on Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week during Hemkund Sahib Yatra. The regular flight fare here has been fixed at Rs 4,850. The scheduled flight from Dehradun to Ayodhya Dham at 9:40 am will reach Ayodhya at 11:30 am, while the scheduled flight from Ayodhya to Ayodhya at 12:15 am will reach Dehradun at 1:55 am.
