Scorched SBI manager dies during treatment in Delhi

On May 6, the security guard sprinkled petrol and set it on fire for not getting leave.

. The branch manager of SBI, who was burnt in the fire, died during treatment in a hospital in Delhi. On May 6, the bank’s own security guard, after not getting leave, set him on fire by sprinkling petrol in the office.
Mohammad Owesh s/o Shaukat Ali, 57, a resident of Munger (Bihar), was the branch manager of SBI at Dharchula. On May 6, security guard Deepak Chhetri, a resident of Bhagwanpur Dehradun, set Mohammad Ovesh on fire by sprinkling petrol inside the bank. Branch manager Ovesh, who was scorched up to 40 per cent, was referred to Haldwani for first aid. Later the family took him to Delhi for treatment. In-charge Inspector Kotwali Dharchula Kunwar Singh Rawat said that the death of the manager of the local branch of State Bank has been reported during treatment in Delhi
