Hurt by returning without wedding procession, the groom committed suicide. The groom did not take the jewelery for the bride in the marriage. The bride returned to the bridegroom’s procession and took rounds with someone else. The dead body of the groom was found hanging from a noose on the tree. The case pertains to Barodadang Hall village of Pali, Lalitpur tehsil Talbehat.
Actually, Varmala had already happened. The bride and groom were about to take the bus. Earlier, the bride’s side broke the relationship due to not bringing jewellery. The boy side tried to explain, but did not agree. After this the procession returned. The girl’s side got the bride married to another boy the same night. It is alleged that the boy committed suicide due to grief.
The body of Baijnath’s son Deepak Sahariya (21) was found hanging from a tree in a field 500 meters away from the house on Tuesday afternoon. Police reached the spot after getting information about the incident. The body was taken down and sent for postmortem. Mahesh, the elder brother of the deceased said, Deepak was the youngest of three sisters and two brothers. His procession had returned 3 days ago without marriage. Since then he was not talking to anyone. Elder sister Bhagwati told, parents had left home on the day of marriage. They don’t know anything yet. On Tuesday, Deepak had left saying that he was going to the shop. After this, the villagers informed about getting his dead body. Police Station President Pali Kamta Prasad said, a young man committed suicide by hanging himself. At present, the relatives have not given any complaint.
