Bulandshahr. A young man from Gulavathi went to the neighbor’s girlfriend’s house with a marriage proposal. The family members of the girlfriend of non-community circumcised the young man by taking him hostage. The young man has also accused the girl’s family members of pressurizing her to convert to religion by giving a complaint letter to the police.
According to information, a youth resident of a village in Gulavathi police station area works in a factory located in Noida Phase II and lived in a rented room. There he met a non-sect girl. Both of them fell in love and expressed their desire to get married with each other. The girl asked to talk to her relatives. In the memorandum handed over to SP Shlok Kumar, the youth told that he had gone to the girl’s house in Noida on July 21. Where he proposed marriage to his daughter.
It is alleged that the girl’s parents and two brothers together held her hostage in the room and talked about marrying the girl only after converting her religion. On protesting, the accused called a doctor at home, made him unconscious by injecting him and forcibly circumcised him.
The victim’s boyfriend along with his relatives and girlfriend reached SSP residence late on Monday evening and demanded action against the accused from SSP Shlok Kumar. SSP Shlok Kumar told that the incident with the youth took place in Noida. The preliminary inquiry has been handed over to CO Secunderabad. Further action will be taken on the basis of the inquiry report.
