Three bike-borne miscreants looted Rs 14 lakh from money transfer company employees in Haridwar.

Daylight robbery stirred up, SSP gave 24 hours ultimatum to disclose the incident

Haridwar. In Sector 2 of BHEL, three bike-borne miscreants looted a bag containing Rs 14 lakh from the employees of the Money Transfer Company and fled. There was a stir due to the robbery in broad daylight. The police launched an intensive checking campaign across the district, but the accused could not be caught by the police.
Brij Bhushan Goyal has an establishment named Goyal Money Transfer Company in Shivalik Nagar. His company does cash delivery at eight ATMs of a private bank. On Thursday, company personnel Rahul Tyagi and Gaurav Mittal reached a bank in Aryanagar area to exchange currency. He converted Rs 500-500 into 100-100 notes of Rs 14 lakh. From here, taking the cash in a black bag, both started returning to Shivalik Nagar by bike. During this, one of the three miscreants riding a bike came from behind in BHEL Sector 2 and snatched a bag full of money. By the time the employees could understand the matter, the accused fled towards Bhagat Singh Chowk. The employees informed the traffic policemen who reached the square. SSP Ajay Singh said that CIU and Ranipur police have been instructed to reveal the incident soon.
