Kanwar Yatra will start in July, meeting will be held on June 16 regarding security arrangements
Dehradun. In view of the Kawad which is going to start in Haridwar from the month of July, Director General of Police Ashok Kumar held video conferencing with the senior and superintendents of police of the districts.
The DGP said that in view of the security in the Kanwar Yatra, 10 companies of Paramilitary Force have been sought from the Union Home Ministry. A meeting of the Coordination Committee has been called on June 16. In which officials of many departments including neighboring states Uttar Pradesh, Himachal, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir will be present
