Haldwani. A 13-year-old teenager died under suspicious circumstances in Mukhani police station area. According to family members, a cloth was wrapped around the teenager’s neck while playing. The family members had written a letter seeking permission not to conduct post-mortem of the body. After the police report, the SDM gave permission not to conduct the post-mortem.
According to Mukhani police, the family took Ravinesh Bankoti (13), son of Kamaluvaganja resident Shivraj Singh, to Dr. Sushila Tiwari Hospital on Sunday evening, where doctors declared him brought dead. Police reached the spot after getting information and sent the body to the mortuary.
On Monday morning, in the report and Panchnama, the police said that there was a mark on the neck of the teenager. The family did not want the post-mortem of the body to be done. For this he wrote a letter and reached City Magistrate AP Vajpayee. City Magistrate told that while playing, a cloth was wrapped around Ravinesh’s neck. SO Mukhani Pankaj Joshi said that on the orders of the City Magistrate, the body was handed over to the relatives without post-mortem.
