200 bed hospital will be built in Kashipur, central government approved the construction

Budget also approved for reconstruction of TB hospital located in Bhawali
Dehradun.
The central government has approved the construction of a 200-bed hospital in Kashipur. Along with this, budget has also been approved for residences and transit hostels for doctors in many districts of the state.
National Health Mission meeting was held in New Delhi on Tuesday. In which the proposals given by the states were approved after discussion. State Health Secretary Dr R Rajesh Kumar attended the meeting. He said that NHM has approved a 200-bed hospital in Kashipur of the state.
There is a proposal of Rs 120 crore for the construction of this hospital. Apart from this, Rs 10 crore has been sanctioned for doctors’ residence in many districts. Rs 9 crore has been sanctioned for transit hostel for doctors in Nainital. Along with this, the Central Government has also approved the budget for the reconstruction of TB Hospital located in Bhawali.
He said that many proposals have been sent by the state under NHM, which are being approved in a phased manner. The construction of a 200 bed hospital will provide great relief to the people of Kashipur. With this, the people of the area will get health facilities near their homes.
