282 Agniveer of Kumaon Regiment Center became part of Indian Army.

After seven months of hard training, Agniveer participated in the passing out parade on Saturday.

Ranikhet. 282 Agniveer of Kumaon Regiment Center became a part of the Indian Army. After seven months of rigorous training, Agniveer participated in the passing out parade on Saturday and took a pledge to keep an eye on the borders. The salute to the second batch of Agniveers was taken by KRC Commandant Brigadier Gaurav Bagga. Agniveers will now be sent to various platoons of the Kumaon and Naga Regiment.
These fire warriors were inducted into the Indian Army with a convocation ceremony at Somnath grounds. The soldiers took the oath to serve the country with pride and dedication and uphold the values of the Indian Army. Chief guest KRC Commandant Brigadier Bagga took the salute of the parade. The parade was led by Agniveer Sanjay Negi and the parade officer was Captain Arvind Singh. Before the Chief Guest, the parade saluted Colonel Vikramjit Singh Sena Medal, Training Battalion Commander and Deputy Commandant Colonel Sunil Kataria. During this time the family members of Agniveer were also present. Happiness and pride were clearly visible in the eyes of the family members during the oath taking of their children for the army.
