35 people including Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat and senior PCS Harbir Singh received Purodha Samman.

Apart from entrepreneurs, the Governor honored many officials at Raj Bhavan.

Dehradun. 35 people were awarded the Industrial Leader Award for their outstanding contribution in industrial development in the state.
In the program held at Raj Bhavan, Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Seni) covered him with a shawl and presented citations to everyone. Along with the entrepreneurs, Kumaon Division Commissioner Deepak Rawat, former Industries Director Sudhir Chandra Nautiyal and former PCS Harbir Singh were also honored for their contributions.
On this occasion, the Governor said that industries have an important contribution in the economy and development of the country and the state. The entrepreneurs of the state have faced many challenges and established their enterprises with their hard work and determination. This will act as an inspiration for other people. He further said that due to the hard work of the entrepreneurs, Uttarakhand has performed well in the manufacturing sectors of pharma, auto parts, solar and herbal. He said that the government is also making serious efforts to establish new industries. Under this, Global Investors Summit is proposed in Uttarakhand. Dr. Harinder Garg, President of Sidcul Manufacturers Association Uttarakhand, organizer of this event, welcomed all the people present and also gave information about this program.
On this occasion, Executive Chairman Dr. Mohinder Ahuja expressed his gratitude to everyone. During this, Director of IIT Roorkee, Prof. KK Pant, Prof. Many people including Akshay Dwivedi, SIDCUL Association General Secretary Raj Arora, Ajay Jain, Lalit Sachdeva, Radhika Nagrath were present.
